Easter Sensory Bins

What to do with left overs from the egg hunts and baskets?

April 15, 2017

Easter goodies are some of my favorite for creative play. They are colorful, fun and in abundance this time of the year. If you don't have some of these in your baskets, try the Dollar Tree. They have a wide variety of items that are great for spring time sensory play bins. If you haven't made a sensory bin for your child, give it a try. It's easy and fun! You can use an old box, plastic container with a lid, or cake pan, whatever is handy.ย

Sensory binsย are a great way to promote tactile play and exploration. Refinement of the tactile (touch) system also promotes development of fine motor skills necessary for handwriting, cutting, and school-related activities.
